Change.  Evolution. These were the two words I have been contemplating for the last 2 months regarding my website.  If you’ve been a frequent visitor, you’ve noticed the site hasn’t been updated in what feels like forever.  It’s causing me tremendous guilt and guilt isn’t healthy.  Therefore, I’ve decided to focus my site more on the photography, specifically food photography although there may be an occasional non-food image posted.  I just don’t have the time I need to create recipe posts for this site.  Between work, friends and family, carving out a couple of hours to take over the kitchen just hasn’t been possible.  But what has been possible is more time behind the camera.

I’ve recently started shooting for the new Zagat site here in Denver, another commitment that has eaten into the little free time that I have, but since it is something I love to do, it’s a fair compromise.  It also provides me with extra content with which to fill my site. I’m not saying I won’t ever be doing recipes again, I definitely will, but the majority of posts from now on will be more image based.  Partly to share what I’m doing and partly to share what some of the restaurants in Denver are doing.

I”m hoping you’ll find some value/inspiration in the photos and the occasional recipe.

The photo above was a shot I did for Zagat at Euclid for a piece on comfort foods.  I enjoy going into Euclid and working with Jorel, he’s just as interested in getting a good photos as I am.
